Who is Grace Hartigan?

Grace Hartigan, a pioneering American painter, was known for her dynamic and innovative contributions to the Abstract Expressionist movement. Hartigan lived and created in Baltimore, Maryland, where she honed her craft and left an indelible mark on the art world. Serving as a faculty member at the Maryland Institute College of Art, she imparted her expertise to aspiring artists from 1965 until 2008.
